Concern that anyone with edit rights can edit, amend, and delete (using backspace or delete) entries on forms created by other users. Can we have an option in the designer to lock questions to the form owner so that only the form owner can complete or edit the question. Overarching Admin rights to edit and delete all questions/contents should remain. This is important for Quality Assurance and lifecycle traceability.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

This is a good start but has not delivered what was actually suggested. What was asked for is the ability to lock the question to the form owner or originator. To manage what we need using the solution provided would mean the creation of hundreds of different roles, one per person.
Hello! We have come up with a plan for this request - having the option to Secure a Group within a form and being able to set permissions for this group (by role). This new permission will be enforced in mobile, new web, and classic so those without permission can view questions that are in a secure group but cannot edit questions. Work has begun on this approach.
Can we have an update on progress of this request please
Great suggestions. We agree. The ability to assign permissions by a role provides great functionality that would serve a lot of people. There are quite a few suggestions that touch on this issue so I'll combine them for better visibility for all that have made a similar suggestion.
If we had this functionality it will greatly strengthen our Quality Assurance and Control traceability position with ourselves and our regulators, the Office for Nuclear Regulation. Quality Processes would also be strengthened by reducing errors and prevent others meddling with forms where they are not authorised to do so.
This is essential functionality for multiple approval steps we currently manage via workflows. If we could restrict form editing-rights by role and not just originator this would be even better, as we can link this closely to related workflows which allows far greater control of form content editing
