I was just about to write exactly the same post! Makes no sense to me why can only see N/A when a question is non-mandatory, the whole point of N/A is to make sure the form filler picks something instead of overlooking the question completely. Seems very odd to me that this isn't already built into the system.
This is a spot on suggestion, it would be very popular and beneficial to many forms I am sure! Both users and contractors have asked in the past if this can be done
Makes great sense and helps define the answer more specific, since some answers do not fit in with just 'yes' or 'no'. 'N/A' is the answer in such a case. Hope to see the new version soon. Shanker Nair

This is a first rate idea. Many of our applications would benefit from this and the difference in speed for the user when answering log question lists would be significant. This feels like just the sort of simple marginal gain opportunity for a simple tasks that makes large differences when applied at scale
