We have quite a large number of field view projects where we have the need to batch add users to projects. It is extremely time consuming to have to add the same user to each project one at a time. this enhancement would save busy people a lot of time.

Yes I agree, it would be helpful if we could just send a sub-contractor an invitation once and then add them to projects as we wish (as we can do with a business person)
Not sure if this helps but we were having the same issue with having to assign many users to projects which was frustrating and time consuming. I now have 'template' projects within Fieldview which have the base users, template forms and task types for each business unit, and makes it easier when setting up a new project for those users who require access to all projects under that specific BU.
Batch assign to multiple projects in general would be of beneficial, particularly users, forms and causes. We have just brought online 15 additional projects for remedial works and we had to assign all the items to a project, switch, repeat, switch, repeat, switch, repeat... you get the idea.
This has been in review since April 2019, come on Viewpoint!
It's great to hear that this is now in review.
Hopefully the development work can be reused for batch adding other things to multiple projects, such as Forms.
Re-evaluating. I don't have anything to add at this moment but this is a potential action item for development.
I also believe this should be given priority to implement, at least at some point. The administration functions of Fieldview are fundamental to Fieldview's usability as a system as a whole
We have kick-back from our projects where we assign the day-to-day administration of Fieldview to a project user/s. Project BU Admins don't want to spend bulk of their time doing simple administrative task. A feature such as a bulk add feature should be a relatively simple function that Fieldview should already include but doesn't yet.
I believe this would help a lot of people and should be considered a priority at least - if not high priority.
I am truly sympathetic that this would be a great update for administrators. However at this time the higher priority is to focus on initiatives that benefit the most amount of people. At this time I will have to decline being able to doing this work.
Batch adding and being able to use the API to manage users to a project would be beneficial. Both functions need to be included multiple users to one project, one user to multiple projects.
Please help with clarification. Are we looking for batch assigning multiple users to a project, or batch assigning a user to multiple projects?
The batch facility needs further configuration and development. I would also suggest batch-distribution of forms as one of the essential enhancements: where users can batch-change status of forms, they should be able to batch-distribute them, too.
