Represent Longitudinal Snags on Calibrated Plans

The current pins used to represent snags etc. May not give a clear visual indication of the size of the problem on longitudinal schemes (Highways, Rail, Pipeline projects etc.) and it would be useful to show these as a shaded area i.e. large area of soft formation would require a significant amount of more work to correct than a wet puddle but currently this would not be obvious unless you read the words of every task.

As a work around have you considered taking a snapshot of the plan and then annotating the area affected?
