Changing ownership of tasks

Where currently the status of a task can be opened/ completed. There should be an option for a subcontractor to respond to a task and then have that task re-assigned to the contractor who initially assigned it, if what they tasked is not a simple completed/not completed issue. Which the majority of tasks raised on this system will be. The task should become complete for the subcontractor and opened for the contractor, or there should be another option such as 'waiting main contractor response' to open dialogue between the two parties rather than all the onus for the task being put on the subcontractor.
