Save time by sending forms to print – such as hot works permits – directly from a mobile device. Previously a multi-step process, it required that a tablet be synched, then accessing the print form function via the website.

Thanks for the input. The current plan is to produce a PDF on the tablet without syncing and without requiring a server connection. At that point, your preferred printing app on the tablet (AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Samsung Mobile Print, Samsung Cloud Print, or any printer-specific app) could be used to print the PDF. Please provide your input.
Would printing one form at a time suffice, or is it a requirement to batch print forms from the tablet?
I agree, particularly when issuing electrical permits to work, done at the MCC it is needed to have the capability to print as one copy of the permit needs to be displayed at the point of isolation ( refer to the Group wide electrical safety rules )
I agree, a particular application for us is the printing of permits. While utopia may be paperless, reality is our electrical permits needs to be clearly displayed on the MCC. We would like the ability to print to web enabled printer or ideally a cheap NFC enabled printer for our Android tablets and print the permits within out MCC kiosks.
