What we need is the ability to import items for a predefined list in forms. If not import then you should be able to link it to the Spectrum Database directly.
I agree with comments above, this doesn't read that they want to create a form template, more prepopulate answers to a form rather than asking users to waste time filling them in manually, and opening opportunity to mistype information.
Hi Betsie, I believe this is a 'will not implement'. Importing content from excel templates isn't possible, and exporting data collected through Fieldview isn't directly possible either, most of this data is only accessible via the API's.

This is definitely and older request that should have been responded to by now, and we are working to do much better in the future. As you are aware, you can of course export data using Excel. However, there are no plans to use Excel as a starting point to create forms because honestly that would limit what you could create. I will be marking this as already exists for the exporting feature.
I agreed with Gabriel Granger. We are looking for the same option mostly with form data fill.
You should be able to import and export from excel in any and every part of the software... so much time wasting on retyping information i have else where BUT no way to get it from A -> B without manually typing it all in again.
