We picked most of the question as mandatory in our permit so it would notify with pop out box our Construction Manager if any question has been missed before changing the status to Approve. It would fully prevent a problem with right closure and cancellation of our permit . Also with a massive amount of permits we could count on system that every question was filled out and nothing is missed in the questionnaire.

I'm not sure if this is helpful but we use the Predefined Answer on our forms and allows us to set the Options as Yes, No and N/A. This means the questions can be made mandatory and prompt for an answer. On certain forms, if a task or form is required to be raised as a result of selecting a specific predefined answer, then we set this within the form builder so the user is again prompted to raise the relevant task or form.

I think Not Applicable needs to be more consistent and have some options. Right now there is no way to select Not Applicable from the web, but there is no way to turn it off in the App. It should be in both platforms, and there should be the ability to turn it on or off depending on whether you want to allow an 'Not Applicable' response.
