Keep EXIF data on photos (e.g. GPS)

photos are stripped from meta data which should include GPS at least. Instead it is written on the picture which is very hard to parse

    i agree - the stamping the gps on the photo is pretty useless as you cant do anythign with it. would like to be able to display photos on other software (such as GIS) for visual representation of progree for example

    Display them in GIS software (map).

    But I believe it is not so much a problem of adding it as much as not removing it. What is the reason for removing this data in the first place?
