it would be useful to be able to filter forms on the mobile devices by form type i.e. health and saftey forms/ permits/ handover etc

Hey Harvey, if you're talking about filtering forms that have been raised on the tablet this can already be done using the filter icon next to the star at the top right. Once you select the form type and apply, only those forms will show up within the geometry.
