Ability to view PDF attachments made via website on Tablet

To make the system fully viable as a Quality tool, we need to be able to see any attachments made via the website to forms and processes, for example, such as total station outputs, concrete testing results and other such verification results for ITPs, ITRs, Commissioning certificates etc... on the tablet in order to be able to fully assess in the field, as coming back to the office to view on the website defeats the object of having a tablet in the first place.

    I agree with this suggestion and Marks comment from 2016.

    There really is no point in having the option to upload a document if it cant be viewed out on site. Especially seeing as FV doesn't have the capacity to add diagrams to the forms. So the pdf attachment comes in handy.

    Just one reason why the pdf is needed on the device.

    Now that we are a publicly traded company we can no longer share timelines.  But this status does mean we are actively working on it and we will let you know when the work is complete by updating the status on this suggestion.

    Just started using Field View. I see this is from March 2016. It still says planned. I think it is a basic feature and should be added asap.

    Agreed, there is little point in the document capability if they cannot be viewed in the field. This would be particularly useful for Permit-to Break Ground service plans, which at the moment we have to do a screen grab from a pdf as a jpg then load on the device by connecting as a device to a laptop then adding from device folder in Fieldview - not good...this has been a frustration for years now - sort it out. Suggest a limit on document size so as not to kill the sync.
