Currently, you can change a status that you don't have permissions to one that you do. For example, you don't have permissions to assign a "Signed Off" status but you can change that status back to "Completed". We need a new workflow permissions that would prevent a backward workflow unless you have explicit permissions to do so.

This would be extremely useful. We often come across issues where our workflows operate something like:
Form Opened
Form Approved by Operative
Form Approved by Supervisor
In this case the operative is always able to 'roll back' the form status to 'Form Approved by Operative', we'd like to be able to prevent this. When we have particularly complex workflows we often need the users to set a status which is editable, after which approval will occur. Concern here is that users will always be able to set the form back to editable and change answers after the form has reached its final status
