This is quite disappointing, especially when comparing Field View to Procore (YOUR COMPETITOR), which in itself has many more features available, such as adding a photo to a plan, performing measurements, marking up, hyperlinking to other drawings, all of which can be done via the website and via their application.
This would also help with adding tasks via the web, something that we discourage as a business but is sometimes unavoidable (also you can either add a task or not add a task within permissions - as an admin you can't lock down adding a task via web) as when a task is added via the web, because there is no drawing it is added to the location itself, which means viewing on the app makes it difficult as you need to go into the action panel > location summary, instead of seeing a pin as you would with the tasks added via the application. This means that users can sometimes miss these tasks to close out within the target date and the task is marked as overdue as they won't always look at the location summary for tasks added via the web.

That is very sad news Betsie. For managers of multiple projects it is not practical to have a tablet that has 10+ projects on it, it kills the memory, so being able to log into the web without flipping projects and syncing to get that visual sense of the state of the project would be very useful.

Thank you for the suggestion but Field View was created so that pins could be created when onsite using a tablet or phone. The web interface specializes in more robust work that would be tedious to complete on a mobile device.
