The ability to quickly take a photo and pin it to a location in the drawing, without it having to be part of a task or form, would provide an instant photo management/documentation tool for job sites. A single click from the screen (like a camera icon) to take and save a photo, with the option to pin it to a location (on the plan or simply by location as needed), add some tagging (i.e. select multiple packages/organizations to build some metadata/searching capabilities), recording who took the photo, when the photo was taken. Could have a status but not necessary. Possibly have the ability to launch a related task or form. But at its core these features would be optional, at its simplest it's just point and click and move on while the web interface provides a list of all photos.

Hi Shawn,
Please help me understand what is the value or purpose for being able to take a photo and pin it to a location without it being part of a task? If I were to create a task and add a photo would it accomplish most of the meta data you are asking for: who took the photo, the date (at least the date the task was created) and then the ability to track the status?
