I understand the date on forms is controlled by the culture setting. However a number of industries are international in their scope and have standardized methods for writing the date in various formats. For instance in the pharmaceutical industry with its international scope the dates can be confusing; for instance is 02/02/20 dd/mm/yyyy? or mm/dd/yyyy? There is no way to know. Subsequently in industry we standardize the date format in the 2-3-4 format (dd/mmm/yyyy) in this example we could right the date then as 02FEB2020.
This may vary from one industry to the next, but a customizable manner to format the date per industry in Field View we be an added asset to the functionality of the system.
